• The customer/purchaser/receiver is responsible for the shipment of alcohol and is expected to know and abide by their local and state laws. Additionally the customer/purchaser/receiver is responsible for any taxes that may pertain to the shipment of alcohol and/or other items sold through this website, and taxes for packaging and/or shipping, and gallon taxes if so applicable.

  • Non-California residents are responsible for determining if their state or county laws allow wines, spirits or tobacco products to ship into their state or county. Each state or county has their own laws and regulations related to these products. Please check with your appropriate agencies. Each individual accepts responsibility for their state verifications.

  • You must be at least 21 years of age to order alcohol, and a signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery.

  • You must sign for an order when it is being delivered, and show proof of your age if you order alcohol.

  • Products cannot be shipped to a APO, FPO, PO Box or international. If you have to cancel because you were shipping to a PO Box a 10% Restock Charge may apply.

  • We do not recommend ground delivery for orders. This is because of the potential heat exposure during warm weather conditions and extreme cold during the winter months. We cannot be held responsible for damaged items due to the selection of ground delivery for your order!

  • Expedited Delivery will begin on the date in when we ship the package, not from when the order was placed.

  • Once your order is confirmed, we do our best to ship the order within 24 to 48 hours, although it may take up to 5 business days before the order is actually shipped.

  • We use corrugated shipping boxes with no writing or labels on the box. We may add a sticker that says something to the extent of Fragile Glass. We also bubble wrap certain items, and tape the tops of certain items. In some cases the label may be damaged, that is to protect the product from leakage.

  • Alcoholic beverages with more than 70% alcohol content or 140 proof, including 95% grain alcohol are not available for purchase to be shipped. Alcoholic beverages with less than 24% alcoholic content are not subject to hazardous materials regulations. Absolutely no alcoholic beverages over 24% alcohol (48 Proof) should be shipped by air.

  • NO, our courier does not pick up any orders on Saturday or Sunday or Holiday's.  If you placed an order on Friday, the earliest it could go out is on Monday.

  • Once the package is shipped, you will get a package tracking number e-mailed to you, if you chose ground shipping, it could take 7 to 10 business days for delivery.

  • Payments are handled via contact from seller. Seller will contact you to obtain payment and shipping details. The company adheres to strict industry standards for payment processing, including.

  • Payments can also be handled through PayPal, you will be notified upon seller contact the method in which your payment can or will be processed.

  • PayPal, when you process through PayPal, they may flag the account, and the payment on our end is not received for a few days.  If this applies, we will hold the order until it is cleared for shipping through PayPal.  This usually happens if you pay by check.

  • Cancellation, if you decide you don't want the order, a refund can be issued although a 10% restocking fee will apply, as long as the item(s) have not been set to "Awaiting Shipment" or "Shipped", in which case we cannot stop the process, and the order will not be canceled.

  • Refund(s) will not be issued for package(s) that are returned to us for any reason. If the order is returned to us, you must contact us within thirty days of last delivery attempt, and pay for shipping in order for us to re-ship the order. Also you have thirty days from the time that you place your order to contact us with a breakage, error or missing item(s) in order for us to help. In the event that there is a problem ie: Breakage or missing, we will do whatever we can within reason to make it right. If the package is damaged for any reason, please contact us.

  • Unfortunately there is not much we can do to prevent leakage. We do our best to make sure the cap is sealed well. There are times when this happens; the product has never been tampered with! We do not issue exchanges or refunds for leakage.

  • Decline, if you attempt to make a purchase and your payment declines, your credit card processor may do a pre-authorization on your card, and those funds could be frozen for up to 5 business days before they fall off your statement.

  • In the event that we are out of a product(s), we will make an attempt to contact you, to resolve the issue. 

  • It is the buyer's responsibility to arrange for the acceptance of the package, we do not ship to a PO Box. If the package is returned, the buyer may pay for shipping again, and we will attempt to ship the item(s) again.

  • Weather related damage is not the responsibility of Marvin’s Specialty and we cannot guarantee against weather related damages.

  • Laws regarding the sale and transportation of alcoholic beverages are complex and constantly changing. The politics, policies and procedures regarding such sales and transportation are different in every state. That is why you are buying from us in California and why title to the alcoholic beverages is passing to you upon purchase. In the event that Marvin’s Specialty may ship wine or other alcoholic beverages to your state in accordance with a state privilege requiring the payment of state taxes, you will be charged the sales tax, if any, assessed by your state for that transaction; otherwise either California sales tax will be assessed on the sale. Title to all product intended for shipment to federal property and Indian reservations passes to the customer when the goods are picked up by the common carrier and California sales tax may be collected on all such purchases. When your order is approved by your credit card company, you own the goods. If you choose shipping as a delivery method, you are asking us to engage a common carrier to deliver your order to you. We make no representations about the legality of shipping alcoholic beverages. You are responsible for compliance with all laws regarding such shipments. You may also make your own shipping arrangements.
